Sarah Elizabeth Frank

In Loving Memory of
Sarah Elizabeth Frank

Born to Life April 18th, 1969
Born to Eternal Life August 29th, 2017

(nee Flint) age 48, of Whitefish Bay. Passed peacefully on August 29th, 2017. Loving wife of Spencer Frank. Adoring mother of Bennett, Chase and Griffin Frank. Beloved daughter of James P. and Barbara Flint and Barbara K. (the late Wayne J.) Frank. Dear sister of Susan (Brad) Wigdale and Jim Flint. Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Marjorie Faulkner (Moose), Lloyd Moose, Jean and Kenneth Flint. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Sarah had an extraordinary zest for life. Her big smile lit up a room and she radiated positive energy wherever she went. She was kind, smart, loving, fun, courageous, and compassionate. As a mother of three boys, she was simply the best. She encouraged her kids to do their best, be curious, learn everyday, have fun, follow their arrow, make something amazing out of their lives, and never stop smiling.

Sarah radiated beauty, always saw beauty in others, and designed beauty into the world around her. Sarah’s positive outlook on life, strong will to live everyday, and hope for tomorrow was inspiring to all who knew her.

Sarah lived with passion, courage, perseverance, and hope. She was our hero.
All that is real and tangible is found in the present. Now is where we need to put our energy and count our blessings. All we have is this second, and a choice in how we live it.

Thank you to our amazing family and friends for your prayers, words, meals, gifts, time, love and friendship. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Immanuel Presbyterian Church for all the great work the church does in Milwaukee and beyond would be appreciated. 1100 N. Astor St. Milwaukee, WI 53202

  • Each of you in the wonderful Frank family, mirror all you wrote about dear Sarah- her goodness, loving kindnesses, verve for life and, I add, your full faithfulness to her “home- coming” done with great love! Thank you for giving her so much in your lives.

  • We are so very sorry and send our thoughts and prayers for your memories to be filled with all the happiness you shared together.

  • Wow. What a beautiful tribute. Thank you for this.

My most cherished memory of Sarah has got to be drinking Austin Powers Shagadelic shaker cocktails in the sacristy of her church under the roaring Air Show. Her hair was bobbed short and flipped up, which was so sassy and so Sarah.

She clipped on her veil, handed her florist a giant scissors and told him to start cutting.

There was never another bride who was so cool or so chill.

  • I haven’t seen Sarah for some time but what I do remember about her was so eloquently written in this memorial. I remember her as a beautiful person inside and out, always smiling and friendly. I’m sure she will be missed by many. Please know I am thinking of all of Sarah’s family and praying for you during this time.

    Love, Lynn (Meyer) Albert

  • I’m so sorry for your loss. When I lost a loved one in death a few years ago the scriptures Ps. 34:18 and Revelation 21:3,4 really helped me and my family. I hope you can find comfort in these difficult times. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

  • Sarah was a beautiful, kind, caring and lovely person. I will always remember her smiling and her everyday kindness. I am thinking of her parents, siblings, husband, children and other relatives during this very sad time. She really was one of the great ones.
