Daniel Steven Ritter

Daniel Steven Ritter, 50, a lifelong resident of Cedarburg unexpectedly passed away on Jan. 6, 2019.

Dan believed his greatest accomplishment to be his relationship with his loved ones.  His devotion to his family and friends was without measure. He will be remembered for his hearty laugh, quick wit, love of music and his passion for all Wisconsin sports.  

Dan is survived by his wife, Tia (nee Ebert), parents Donald and Nancy, siblings Bethanie and Andrew (Rachel), mother-in-law Barbara, late father-in-law William Ebert, nephews, niece, and many other family members and friends.

A celebration of Dan’s life will be held between 11 and 3 on Jan. 26 at Terrace 167 (3210 Hwy. 167/Holy Hill Rd. Richfield, WI 53076).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Camp American Legion or Washington County Humane Society.

    Even though we only got together one weekend a year, it was as if time never passed. You had a gift for making everyone around you laugh and feel good. That is a true gift. I will miss you, never forget you, and will ALWAYS be honored to call you my friend.

  • I am so sorry for the family’s loss. I met Dan in 2007 while working in sales, we had the same territory and were at the same functions. He will be missed.

  • Dan was a wonderful person who was loved by so many. My heart goes out to his mother, father, siblings, Tia, Barb, extended family and friends. I feel blessed to have known Dan but am so sad he was taken from his family and friends at such a young age. At least, we have the memories. Dan will be forever in my thoughts.

  • We won’t forget you. You were a great friend and we have so many wonderful memories. Like the many times you showed up with Shwarten boys and Dauls and hung out till the weee hours at Wieds or the awesome weekends at the lake house. Your wedding day…showing up at the house with the wedding party and two stretched limos. The numerous concerts we enjoyed. The dinners at Diamond Jims…..karaoke. 2×6 2×4 ….I know your laughing at that one…..the laughter….the laughter…the laughter. This is what I will miss….your laughter. We love you Dan you will forever be missed more than you know.
