Stephanie A. Cotic

Cotic, Stephanie A. passed away on Sunday, June 16th, 2019 at the age of 71.   Stephanie is survived by her brothers, Dennis (JoAnn) and Victor Cotic.  She is also survived by her niece, Nicole (Chadwick) Albano, nephew, Ryan Cotic, and great-nieces Isabella, Olivia, and Tanya.  Stephanie is predeceased by her parents, Victor and Lorraine Cotic, and sister, Cynthia Wiener.  A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 7301 W. Nash St., Milwaukee on Friday, June 28th at 10:30 AM.

Stephanie was the oldest of four and was dedicated to helping her family in any way she could.  She enjoyed caring for her younger siblings Victor and Cindy when toddlers. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and giving her works to family and friends. Parents, Victor and Lorraine Cotic, were the proprietors of Vic & Lorry’s Rathskeller Tavern located at 40th & North Ave. in Milwaukee. Stephanie was very proud of her family and the accomplishments of her two brothers, Dennis and Victor.  She was also proud auntie of Nicole and Ryan, and loved spending time with them as they grew up.  Also, she was very proud of her great-nieces Isabella, Olivia, and Tanya. Suffice it to say, Stephanie was all about family.

Messages for the family

  • Please accept our deepest condolences during this most difficult time. While nothing will completely take away your grief, we have found the scripture at Revelation 21:4 to be especially comforting where it promises that soon God, by means of his kingdom that we pray for in the Lord’s Prayer, will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more. May God comfort all of you and give you peace in the days ahead. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

  • Hugs of sympathy to cousins Dennis, Victor, and family members in the loss of Stephanie. She was a caring good soul, always trying to be helpful to situations. In years past, I was a fortunate recipient of cousin Stephanie’s loving generosity, a hand knitted pot holder. She truly focused on people, God bless her!
    Peace to All, Cousin Barbara
