Steven Paul Bodi “Butch”

Butch passed peacefully on August 11, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital, age 73. He was born in Milwaukee on March 19, 1946. Butch served in the Air Force during the Vietnam war, worked in foundries, and became a homemaker when his daughter Marisa was born. He continued as a caregiver for the children of family and friends for many years. He read voraciously and single-handedly won trivial pursuit games, regardless of how many people were on the opposing team. Beloved husband of 42 years to Judith A. Bodi (nee Saladin), loving father of Jeanette (Raymond) Jurgilanis and Marisa (Andy) McKee, proud grandfather of Kyle, Erik, Calvin, and Clara, dear brother of Cindy Hildebrandt, Bruce (Dianne) Bodi, Candy (Paul) Gravunder, and the late Karen Bruno and Dennis Bodi, and godfather of Tammy Rondone. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

Please join us for a celebration of Butch’s life on Sunday September 15th from 2:00-6:00 at the New Berlin Ale House. In addition to snacks, beer, soda, and cookies throughout, a taco bar will be served from 3:30-5:00.
