Built as Shorewood’s first funeral home in 1931 by Fred Fass, this historic landmark was designed in the Romanesque style to resemble a large residence. Whether you require use of the Chapel, Visitation Rooms, or Reception Facilities, the flexible layout allows us to accommodate a broad range of services and can support everything from very large assemblies to the most intimate of gatherings.
Northshore Funeral Services was purchased in 2000 by Jody Michael Armata. Over the next ten years, the facility went through a total restoration. Mr. Armata takes pride in the functionality and appearance of the facility including regular improvements to both the premises and equipment to maintain the highest professional standards.
In 2008, the first Historic Preservation Award from the Shorewood Historical Society was given to Northshore Funeral Services honoring the finest piece of architecture in the village.
