Zavier Hauser

On July 28th, 2005 at 7:09 PM; one of the most incredible people who ever graced this planet was born, on July 23rd at 5:01 PM he passed away in his sleep at home with his family. We never could have imagined how profoundly he would change our lives. Zave’s heart, smile, energy, humor, creativity, grit, confidence, and all around bad-ass-ery are among our very favorite things about him. He has never entered into a space without radiating his vibrant spirit so brightly it would be impossible not to feel its glow. He is love deeply and profoundly missed by many friends and love ones including his parents, Anna Stevens (Jamie Ivanov) and Brandon Hauser; Siblings, B.H. and Kane Ivanov; Grandparents, Laura and David Haines, Ken and Jolene Hauser, Gregory and Peggy Stevens; Uncles Kristopher Haines (Dave Brookes), Lance (Leah) Hauser, Grant Hauser, Robert (Alexis) Stevens, and Aunt Barbara Stevens; Great-Grandparents David (Vicki) Short, Joan (Ray) Peterson, and Robert (Kay) Stevens. This season is the most impossibly hard thing we have ever endured. We are gathering to share in the love & precious memories of Zavier at a Memorial in Madison, WI on August 17th 2024. What: Zave’s Memorial & Walk of Remembrance When: August 17th, 2024 **Memorial** (11-2) **Walk of Remembrance** (2:30ish) Where: Madison, WI **Memorial** (Vilas Park Shelter) 1602 Vilas Park Drive Madison, WI **Walk of Remembrance** (Henry Vilas Zoo) We invite folks who are able/willing to find & wear the craziest socks you can find, as well as dress in bright colors as an ode to Zave’s energy & signature style. There is a fairly open timeframe rather than schedule of events; that said from 1:30-2:00 we will play some specific music & play the rap Zave wrote & we anticipate traveling down to Vilas Zoo with his wheelchair to walk through one of his favorite places. If you can stop by 5 minutes or want to be with start to finish we’ll be glad to have you. Regardless of whether you can attend or not, we love you all. Please feel free to light a candle and say a kind word, a prayer, or anything that fits your beliefs to honor the inimitable Zavier. His favorite is “positive vibes” but we believe however and whoever you offer those up to will pour them into the universe for him 🧡 In lieu of flowers please honor Zave by donating to Wisconsin Public Education Network, Arts for All, or your local library.
