Born to Eternal Life January 30, 2022. Age 92. Residence Milwaukee. Beloved husband of Nancy K. (nee Marple) Luko. Loving father of Mark A. Luko, Kenneth J. Luko, Jane E. Arends (Albert Roscoe) and the late James A. Luko. Proud grandfather of 9 wonderful grandchildren and 13 wonderful great grandchildren. Anthony is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Anthony was a City of Milwaukee Bus driver for 20 years and finished his career at Briggs and Stratton. The loves of his life were his family, especially his grand and great grandchildren. His love of the sunshine drew him outdoors to tending vegetable and flower gardens and beloved rose bushes, throwing horseshoes, and washing cars. Master of playing cards, checkers, and the spoons. His actual job in life was jokester extraordinaire, responding to each moment with his casual one liners. We bid him a fond, yet sad, bye bye and buy bonds.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10th after 4:00 PM at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2750 W. Mequon Rd, Mequon, 53092; followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 5:30 PM.
