Daniel H Frankel died Sunday January 19, 2020 of a massive heart attack at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife Sue Bronson of Shorewood, Wisconsin; his sister Susan Frankel (and Stephen Jeffery) of Barrington, New Hampshire; his cousins Henry and Jane Berliss in New York and Steve and Kathy Sarka and the Sarka family in Ohio; and many wonderful nieces and nephews, and their children whom he loved.
Dan was born to James A. and Marilyn (Roebuck) Frankel and grew up in South Euclid, Ohio. He attended University of Wisconsin – Madison graduating with a degree in Economics in 1975 followed by a graduate degree in Urban Planning from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. He worked as a Systems Analyst with the telephone company and retired from Northwestern Mutual in 2017.
He led many Sierra Club service trips around the country helping to create and maintain hiking trails in the wilderness. He enjoyed nature, long walks, biking, and reading, especially Milwaukee history.
Please join Dan’s family as they Celebrate his Life on Friday, January 24th from 2-5pm at Northshore Funeral Services Chapel. There will be a time of reflection at 4pm.
