April 16th, 2021, age 98, of Whitefish Bay. Beloved husband of the late Mildred M. (nee LeDain) Palmer. Loving fatherr of Susan M. (Michael) Janczy. Proud grandfather of Emily Grace Janczy. Dear brother of the late Virginia A. Palmer. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Horace served in the Army during WWII in Japan and continued in the Army Reserves for 22 years attaining the rank of MAJ. He worked as a food technologist for Henri’s and Holsum Foods, among others. He was active in the George Washington 1776 Masonic Lodge as a 32nd degree master mason and was also an active 50+ year member of North Shore Presbyterian Church. Horace enjoyed hiking and birding, Chinese brush painting, his latest cat, Clyde and attending anything his granddaughter was in – softball, dance, etc.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 22nd after 5:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service with Masonic Rites at 6:00 PM at the North Shore Presbyterian Church, 4048 N. Bartlett Ave., Shorewood, WI 53211 (MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED) Interment will be private at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
