Lisa Jean Radtke (nee Ulrich) died unexpectedly of natural causes at her new home on September 7, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 55. Lisa is survived by her father, John Ulrich of Germantown WI; husband, Michael Radtke; son Andrew Radtke; siblings Cheryl (Ron) Barenz of West Bend, Karen (Fred) Lunde of Peoria, AZ; John (Jean) Ulrich of Menomonee Falls, Jim (Jan) Ulrich of Menomonee Falls, and Julie (Baldomero) Avila of Downey CA; as well as 17 nieces and nephews. Lisa has now joined her beloved mother, Doreen Ulrich, in heaven.
Lisa was born on January 20, 1965, graduated from Germantown High School, received her Bachelor Degree in Behavioral Science from Mount Mary University, and received her Masters Degree in Child Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Lisa and Mike were married 26 years and lived in and near Wauwatosa, WI nearly their entire marriage. Lisa thrived in helping people whether she was teaching children in daycare, leading Weight Watcher's meetings, serving as Director of Membership and Development at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee, or facilitating on-line support groups. Her son remembers Lisa as a loving mother who taught him to think for himself, how to overcome challenges, and pursue his education goals.
Lisa was a devoted wife and mother who volunteered her time at her son's schools and to help others in need. She had an innate sense to know how to help people in crisis, even if it was simply to just sit and be present with them. She had a witty sense of humor and loved to be the center of the party. Lisa and her husband have been active members of First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee for 27 years.
