Obituary

Ruth Helen Berg

(nee Kalka)  Born to Eternal Life on August 11, 2021, age 87 years.  Resident of Whitefish Bay.  Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Berg.  Loving mother of  Cynthia (Ted) Acheson, Eve (Doug) Fick and the late Christopher Berg.  Proud grandmother of Adam, Nathan and Ashley Acheson, Mitchell Maling and Hannah Fick.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Family was everything to Ruth and she was known as “Honey” to all. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking and baking for everyone, particularly her authentic German dishes. Ruth was an avid reader and could be found reading one of her countless books whenever she could find a few minutes for herself. Her great love of dogs was dwarfed by her love of her five grandchildren who all considered her one of their best friends.

Private family services have been held.  Entombed at Holy Cross Cemetery.  If desired, memorials may be directed to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
